UPDATE: 1:40pm EST: CNBC now reporting at least 12 killed, the Oberoi Hotel is now on fire. Sue Herrera says this hotel is a very open one and popular and is attached to an open air market which is usually crowded.

Bloomberg: “Some terrorist incidents are happening. Some grenades were lobbed,’’ A.N. Roy, director general of police for Maharashtra state said over the telephone from Mumbai. “Our men are dealing with the situation. Please give us some time to get a clearer picture.”

Shootings also took pace outside Café Leopold and at the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower hotel, both in the Colaba area of south Mumbai, CNN-IBN reported

Police threw a cordon around the Trident hotel in Nariman Point, the central business district, CNN-IBN said. One eyewitness said there was a fire in the lobby and that some of the guests were still inside there…

CNBC reporting that NDTV has reported several terrorist attacks in several locations including Vicoria Terminus an often crowded commuter station. NDTV reports the attacks include shootings and grenades. 10 reported killed, God Bless them.
