“When Atlanta’s major Tea Party scheduled for July 4 at Gwinnett Mall was cancelled by Gwinnett Place Mall of Simon Company, organizers of various freedom groups rallied to sponsor a Tea Party event at the State Capitol in Atlanta.
The Atlanta Freedom Rally & Tea Party will be held on Saturday, July 4, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Georgia State Capitol at 206 Washington Street SW.”

“CBS’ Chip Reid and Helen Thomas double teamed Robert Gibbs today at the daily press briefing on the “tightly controlled” town hall meeting President Obama will hold on health care. Gibbs kept saying lets have this discussion AFTER the meeting. Helen Thomas accused the White House of “controlling the press.” She said almost all White House/Obama events are “prepackaged.” She accused the White House of not “having any answers.”

…The tape dates to last summer, when Susan Krakower, a CNBC executive and co-creator with Ratigan of Fast Money, dared to speak into his earpiece during a commercial break in the newscast. Ratigan didn’t like that…The New York Post reported on the exchange back in March, and indicated that Ratigan’s issues with Krakower were partially responsible for his decision to jump to MSNBC—after promising himself to ABC News as a negotiating tactic to get more money—in May.
Sounds like a fun guy to work with….
