Updated: Title was misleading. Charisma is making a guest star appearance in the premiere Nov 7th, while Tabrett (Cara) will be a regular for S3 (as we fans of the novels hoped! This move would follow the books :0) )

…Because this is IGN, we’d be remiss if we let you continue reading without giving you the details on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer / Angel actor who will guest-star on the show. Cordelia herself, Charisma Carpenter, will play Triana, a Mord’Sith in the season premiere. If you’re unfamiliar with the show or the book series, the Mord’Sith are a bad-ass group of soldiers who wear tight red dominatrix outfits. In other casting news, Tabrett Bethell, who played Cara, another Mord’Sith in the first season will join the cast this year as the trio’s traveling companion….

Netflix has signed a deal with Disney/ABC and will now have seasons one AND TWO! of Legend as well as LOST available!
…Netflix and Disney-ABC came to an agreement allowing the movie rental company to distribute popular TV shows “Lost,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “Legend of the Seeker.” Some of the episodes were already made available on Aug. 1. The remaining episodes will become available in September.Specifically, the agreement includes the first five seasons of “LOST,” seasons four and five of “Desperate Housewives,” season five of “Grey’s Anatomy,” and seasons one and two of “Legend of the Seeker” from ABC Studios….
In other Seeker news, NBC Uni picked up rights to air the show on its SciFi network in Central and Eastern Europe:
…NBC Universal Global Networks has picked up the rights to Disney-ABC Television Group’s syndicated drama Legend of the Seeker for its SCI FI channel in Russia, Poland and Romania.
Produced by Sam Raimi, of the Spider-Man movie franchise, and the creative forces behind Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess, the show is set in a distant land, in an age of swords, dragons and magic, focusing on a mountain guide who is thrust into an epic adventure after falling in love with a woman with magical powers. The series is shot on location in New Zealand. SCI FI, which picked up the two-hour pilot as well as 21 1-hour episodes, launches the series on its Russian, Polish and Romanian outlets in the fall.
Colin McLeod, the managing director for Central and Eastern Europe at NBCU Global Networks, said: “We’ve had a fantastic run of highly anticipated, much talked about premiere series on the channel this year—and Legend of the Seeker is no exception. There was a tremendous buzz ahead of its launch in the U.S. and the first night ratings are testament to what a fantastic show it is.
