If you read his most recent news letter dtd 5 August, he states “That being said, I do not support H.R. 3200 in its current form.” I stress the words “current form” which is NOT a commitment to vote against the bill and leaves him massive “wiggle room.” I don’t trust him for two reasons….1. His vote for “Cap & Trade,” a massive tax increase even as he calls himself a “Blue Dog.” 2. His failure to face his constituents face-to-face this recess giving the excuse of “security concerns” (I received this from his staffer when I called). Watch for him to turn when pressured by his party.
