Cry Me a River: Phil Spector ‘terrified of being done in’ in prison…

Guilty as sin. Caged like the killer he is. Yay. Cry me a river you rat bastard. Our previous post on Lana Clarkson’s tragic death here

The Sun reports Phil is still living in his own private Idaho of the mind:

In rambling letters to a pal, Spector, serving life for murdering a B-list actress, moaned: “Imagine sending me to the same prison – shows how low they can go.

“They’d kill you in here for a 39-cent bag of soup!”

The twisted Wall of Sound genius said he was terrified of being done in by other lags and that being kept locked in his 3ft by 7ft cell was better than having to mix with them at mealtimes.

If you can’t beat ’em, open a Congressional investigation…

Congress has gone fishin’

Did Waxman not learn from the ridiculous Clinton impeachment moves of the 90s? The American people want the SPENDING TO STOP. We need jobs, We do NOT want MORE BS investigations of PRIVATE BUSINESS so Waxman can make another boogeyman to gin up more class warfare arguments. Ugh.

House Democrats are probing the nation’s largest insurance companies for lavish spending, demanding reams of compensation data and schedules of retreats and conferences.

Letters sent to 52 insurance companies by Democratic leaders demand extensive documents for an examination of ‘extensive compensation and other business practices in the health insurance industry.” The letters set a deadline of Sept. 14 for the documents.

Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.), chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, signed the three-page letter dated Monday.

An industry source replied when asked for comment: “This is nothing more than a taxpayer-funded fishing expedition designed to silence health plans….

Gee what else is happening in September? Hmmm THE FRAKKIN VOTE ON HEALTHCARE 2 WEEKS AFTER THE INFO IS DUE? The ONLY thing transparent about this Congress is the thug like way they roll….Ugh.

And here is Shep Smith playing the media card against Team TOTUS. It has come down to the MSM vs the constituents by and large. Politico had a piece up outlining the ‘blowback’ Obama got from the weekend SNAFU over the government run plan, and the examples listed are all liberal media pundits and hard left Congress Critters- Eugene Robinson, Rachel Maddow, etc. There were NO examples of actual constituents. The lefty media is making it clear to Obama he works for them, see Roger Simon trying to force his hand with idiotic pieces like, “Does he have the guts?” If the Critters shove this through then we will know they work for the media and not the plurality of the American people who are clearly saying NO to the government run option….and whom also BTW now have broken beneath 50% approval for Dems…

Only 49 percent of Americans now hold a favorable view of the Democratic Party, down from 62 percent in the same poll shortly after Obama assumed office. Democratic favorable ratings hovered around 60 percent as recently as April, when 59 percent of those polled held a favorable view.

The national survey of 2,010 adults conducted Aug. 11-17 also found that 51 percent of Americans approve of Obama’s job performance with 37 percent disapproving. Independents split 45 percent-43 percent in approving of the president’s performance.

While Democratic numbers have plunged, the GOP has yet to see any uptick among voters. Only 40 percent of those polled held a favorable view of the Republican Party, a number which Pew noted “has not changed all year.”..

Notice the GOP numbers ARE NOT MOVING LOWER, so clearly blocking the runaway spending train is NOT hurting them contrary to the spin journOlists put out….

Here is the road not taken, the Wyden-Bennett Bill. It has things I do not like, but it covers the uninsured, allows individuals to pool and buy at group rates, does not put govt between a  patient and doctor and is DEFICIT NEUTRAL AFTER 2014!!! So says CBO!!! But they pooh poohed this idea and now say no GOP cooperation was forthcoming? BS.
