Top: You just knew this inning was going to get interesting, regardless. Even after Brian Fuentes retired the first two Yankees in order, you just knew something would happen.
And of course it did.
Alex Rodriguez was intentionally walked, Hideki Matsui walked and Robinson Cano was hit by a pitch. Then it came down to Nick Swisher vs. Brian Fuentes.
And of course you knew the count would go full.
So it came down to one pitch, and….
Swisher popped it up.
Angels win.
To Game 6 in the Bronx, we go.

THIRD INNING:
Top: Another blown call by the calls. This time it’s Dale Scott’s turn.
With two outs and nobody on, Johnny Damon hit a grounder to first, which Kendry Morales fielded to his right. With Damon’s speed, Morales had no shot of beating him to the bag, so he flipped it to pitcher John Lackey covering.
Scott called Damon out, which Damon clearly was not happy with. He restrained from arguing, choosing only to express a few words on his way back to the dugout. Then manager Joe Girardi came out for a chat with Scott.
Television replays showed Damon was safe….
