WSJ:

In his opening monologue, Lautner, the co-star of the “Twilight” franchise and a champion martial artist, made fun of his rumored relationship with country star Taylor Swift by imagining what he should have done to stop rapper Kanye West from interrupting her during the MTV Video Music Awards. Spoiler alert: West ends up losing his head.

SNL Spoofs Tiger Coverage

Vodpod videos no longer available.

WSJ:

The show began with a bit about Gov. Mark Sanford, Sen. John Ensign and Sen. John Edwards (played by SNL cast members) holding a press conference about the media coverage of Tiger Woods’ infidelity and “indefinite break” from golf. The three politicians, who have all been linked to sex scandals, complain that the media is ignoring their affairs and focusing on Tiger. “The coverage has been excessive, it has been lurid, and it has completely overshadowed coverage of our extramarital affairs,” says the Sanford character.

“Like Tiger Woods, we have broken our marriage vows, but in addition, as elected officials, we have also violated the public’s trust,” says Ensign in the skit. “It’s a pretty big deal. And yet it seems the media couldn’t care less.”

“We pray this isn’t about race,” Sanford says later.
