2009 Scream Awards: True Blood, Twilight, ‘Drag Me to Hell’ win; Taylor Lautner interview

EOnline:

Spike TV celebrated all things scary and sci-fi Saturday night at the Scream 2009 Awards, and no surprise here, the T’s owned the show— Twilight, Transformers, True Blood and Trekkies.

..The star-studded Scream 2009 Awards show airs Oct. 27 at 10 p.m. on Spike TV…

The tasty Taylor Lautner was the talk of the night, not only picking up one of the four Twilight trophies, beating out resident heartthrob Robert Pattinson for Breakout Male Performance (don’t worry! R. Pattz and rumored ladylove Kristen Stewart skipped the festivities, but both won Best Fantasy Actors).

..And just because they’re adorable, True Blood real-life lovebirds Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer took home matching Best Horror Actor awards….

disabled: JJ Abrams’ Star Trek (2009)- The Gag Reel

Hope everyone enjoyed it before the youtube police got to it, I was thinking it was one of those official unofficial leaks to hype the Nov DVD release…lol

you may still be able to watch an embedded copy at joblo per scifiwire:

A bootleg gag reel from J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek movie, which is presumably on the upcoming DVD/Blu-ray, has found its way onto the Internet, and before Paramount got it pulled from YouTube, it wound up on JoBlo.com.

The reel of outtakes from Abrams’ hit movie contains the usual blown lines, some impolite language, joshing around on set, some dancing, some funny faces, the usual. The Star Trek DVD/Blu-ray drops on Nov. 1

Majel Barrett Rodenberry passes away…

God Bless her, our prayers are with her son Rod and the friends and family. She brought much laughter and entertainment to so many people. She was an incredible inspiration to Gene and to writers and producers and fans as well. A powerhouse of an individual, she will be sorely missed.

Majel brought tears of laughter to my eyes playing Lwaxana, she was a large part of the incredible success and the humor of ST:TNG…

My favorite Majel role was of course, the irrepressible  Lwaxana Troi of ST:TNG:

SciFi/Fantasy: True Blood, Legend of the Seeker, BSG Returns, Anite Blake update, the new Star Trek….

Tonight is the season finale of True Blood, the hit series based on the novels by Charlaine Harris. But don’t despair! SCIFI/Fantasy lovers have a plethora of entertainment awaiting them….

On the Fantasy front, there is a wonderful new series airing on broadcast television based on Terry Goodkind’s ‘Sword of Truth’ novels, Legend of the Seeker. Follow Richard and Kahlan as they fight against the corrupt empire of Darken Rahl…I have caught three episodes and thoroughly enjoyed them, the characters are true to the novels. (No surprise that friend to fantasy lovers everywhere Sam Raimi is behind this production.) Find it on your local channel at the website above and DVR this baby!
