Prepare to suspend your disbelief as they turn the Robin Hood Legend on its head, complete with COASTAL scenes (in Sherwood?!) and a GOOD Sheriff of Nottingham and bad bad Robin. (Ahh for the days of Errol Flynn!) Two ‘secure’ egos in Ridley and Russell. Gladiator goes to Sherwood! Hell I’ll go see it, love adventure flicks.

Ridley Scott helms a script by Sleeper Cell scribes Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris as they tackle this revisionist take on the Robin Hood legend, which finds the noble Sheriff of Nottingham (Russell Crowe) attempting to deal with the exploits of a less than virtuous Robin Hood while gradually being drawn into a heated love triangle involving the legendary thief and the beautiful Maid Marion.

Bloody-Disgusting, citing an anonymous source, reports the rumor that director Ridley Scott’s classic 1979 sci-fi horror movie Alien is being remade at 20th Century Fox.
The source, the same one that told the site correctly that Robert Rodriguez would reboot the Predator series, adds that Scott, his brother Tony and Michael Costigan will produce through their Scott Free Productions company, and that commercial/video director Carl Rinsch will direct the remake…
